Leave “In God We Trust” on Our Currency

On an MSNBC poll, 88% of responses say “YES” while only 12% say “NO”.  But of course, they got a little tricky with their wording to try to skew things up – but that didn’t work.  See what I mean:

In God We Trust Poll

This question brought about one of the highest number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls. That is a pretty ‘commanding’ public response.

So why is there such a to-do about having ‘In God We Trust’ on our money? Why is the world catering to this 12%?

(By the way, be careful if you look this up on Snopes – it’s there but they’re trying to side track from the truth – and worse, they’re using the original poll link and redirecting it to an ad when you click on it.  So what’s THEIR agenda??? This is insulting to the collective intelligence of Americans.  View the Snopes post - but do so with caution; pop ups run wild as do other obnoxious advertising practices. )

Our nation has been on the slippery slope for a long time. If you look around you will find corruption, greed, moral decay, and a steady move away from the things that made us great. The principles upon which this nation was founded are no longer our backbone.  The silent majority has been silent too long – but I think the “sleeping giant” is awakening with a vengeance. Leave it to our beloved Texans to lead the charge…

In Texarkana people are putting signs in their yards that say, “America, prayer is our only hope” – with 2 Chron. 7:14 underneath, which says:

”If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

So let’s pray for our nation and ask for forgiveness for electing corrupt leaders and vow to take more responsibility in elections from this time forward. Please join this plea to our Lord.   Doesn’t cost much, nor take much time at all to have an impact.
